Steam
announced more customization options for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers, the platform announced this week to add button mapping along with LED controls.
The announcement was made during this week’s Steam Client Beta update in which it’s explained that the Steam Xbox Controller driver crash has been resolved along with other fixes. To implement the features, an update on the client is needed.

Note: This update has been re-released with a Steam Xbox controller driver crash fix. If you have installed it and Steam has updated, you should go to the Controller Settings, click the button to update the driver, and restart your computer to get the fix.
Earlier this week an Xbox survey suggested that the company could design a new Xbox controller integrating adaptive triggers, and perhaps, haptic feedback or a touchpad. There were also reports from EuroGamer that explains the controversial decision to not design the Xbox Series X|S controller with a built-in battery like its competitor.
