Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin ‘Trials of the Dragon King’ DLC Announced for July

Square Enix and developer Team NINJA announced an upcoming DLC for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, titled “Trials of the Dragon King.” The DLC will launch on July 20 and will feature new weapons, accessories, new areas, challenges, jobs, story missions, and more. Players who purchased the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Season Pass will receive the game for free alongside the “Wanderer of the Rift ” and “Different Future” missions. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store.

In this hard-core action RPG, Jack must hazard numerous challenges to bring the light of the crystals back to Cornelia, a kingdom conquered by darkness.

Fight your way through fierce battles with a variety of means to defeat your enemies. With multiple difficulty options and a wide selection of jobs and weapons available to customize your party, you can choose exactly how you want to play.

Will restoring the crystals’ light usher in peace or a new form of darkness?… Or perhaps something else entirely?

 

Players can experience an alternate retelling of the classic FINAL FANTASY story, with a blend of challenging and strategic action-packed gameplay set in the world and lore of the beloved series. Players can join Jack and his allies, Ash, Jed, Neon and Sophia, as they throw open the gates of the Chaos Shrine and step into a world of dark fantasy and take on exhilarating battles to discover if they are truly the Warriors of Light the prophecy foretold.
