Styx Shards of Darkness Second Gameplay Trailer

Styx Shards of Darkness Second Gameplay Trailer

Styx: Shards of Darkness is Cyanide Studio’s upcoming Stealth Adventure game arriving March 2017 and the developer alongside publisher Focus Home Interactive have released the second gameplay trailer. The new trailer showcases gameplay from the sequel and touts some of Styx’s stealth abilities and killing tactics.

The trailer features a slew of Styx’s new tools and abilities in three different locations – Wildoran the hunters’ village, the secret Sanctuary of the Dark Elven city Korrangar, and Thoben, the city of thieves. The game’s scope seems much larger than that of its predecessor and builds upon the foundations laid in the tower of Akenash, with more fluid movement and climbing abilities.

Check out the Trailer:

“Many of the newest features are shown in the gameplay trailer above, for the first time we see the new and improved master assassin do what he does best. Searching for the Ambassador’s magical scepter, stolen by an evil Elf, Styx infiltrates the diplomatic summit, lurking in the shadows, swiftly moving from cover to cover, silently taking out those who stand in his way.

Between the improved visuals, richer story, bountiful side-missions, stealth mechanics, leveling system and the new crafting feature, allowing Styx to create various traps, tools and even a clone of himself to teleport long distances and gain an advantage. There are plenty of reasons to get players excited for the newest installment, hopefully this time around Styx gets more exposure and finds a wider audience.”
