Kalypso Media and Kite Games have announced Sudden Strike 4, the first sequel in the real-time strategy series since Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory in 2007, for PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
Sudden Strike 4 will feature three single-player campaigns across 20 missions all set in the greatest battles of World War II and a competitive versus mode. The game will also feature over 100 authentic units in battle ranging from the legendary Russian T-34 tank to the German Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger.
Players will be able to choose between Russian, German, and American/British units when playing. A new feature also allows players to choose from one of nine infamous commanders, including the likes of General George S. Patton and Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery, which boast unique abilities that can turn the tides of war.
Check out the Trailer:
“Sudden Strike 4, which is “developed as a fully-fledged series entry and not a remake or reboot,” offers three “extensive” campaigns set among the battlefields of World War II. Players will command the British and American, German, or Soviet troops, and lead over 100 different units into battle, including the German bomber Heinkel He111, the Russian T-34 tank, the British Hawker Typhoon fighter plan, and the German Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger. And a first in the series, you can now choose from one of nine individual commanders, including George Patton and Bernard Montgomery, who each allow for different approaches to combat and boast unique abilities.”
