Sumthing Else Music Works and UBISOFT release EAGLE FLIGHT Soundtrack
The success of Ubisoft’s recent VR flight simulation is in no small part due to its sound design. The game’s audio compliments the immersive visuals creating a sense of speed and, most importantly, that elusive feeling of presence.
Eagle Flight’s score is composed by three-time BAFTA-nominated composer, Inon Zur. The soundtrack evokes his earlier work for the Prince of Persia series, and is just as memorable. The uplifting orchestral melodies combine with the enchanting voices of Aeralie Brighton and Mimi Page to great effect.
Developed by a team from FunHouse, a division of Ubisoft Montreal, the game lets players become an eagle and fly over Paris and its iconic landmarks, 50 years after humans have left. Nature has taken back the city, creating a rich playground and offering an incredible experience of flight and adventure. The Eagle Flight team developed the game specifically for VR with a strong focus on accessibility and comfort. They created new technology that enables players to quickly master their skills in order to perform impressive stunts and experience the true sensation of flight.

Composed by Inon Zur (Fallout 3, Fallout 4), the soundtrack for Eagle Flight is being released by record label Sumthing Else Music Works, and is available now digitally through the label’s online store – a physical edition of the soundtrack on CD will be available to order (and in stores) beginning on November 18th, 2016.”
