Superbeat: Xonic brings new grooves to PS4 and Xbox One this spring!

Rising Star Games and PM Studios today announced that the renowned rhythm-action videogame Superbeat: Xonic will be available on PS4 in both physical retail and digital formats, and on Xbox One in digital format, across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Middle East, this coming spring.

About the game:

The team at PM Studios is the creative force behind DJ MAX Fever, a widely acclaimed rhythm title for the PlayStation®Portable system which released in the North American market in 2008. Equipped with brand-new user interfaces and rhythms, PM Studios crafted an even more innovative and interactive music game experience in 2015—SUPERBEAT: XONiC for the PS Vita system. Now, SUPERBEAT: XONiC is back with even more killer songs for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Check out the Trailer:

“PM Studios promise that the PS4 version of SUPERBEAT: XONiC will include all the previously released DLC from the PS Vita original, plus new music, and have said that new downloadable DLC tracks will also be available. Interestingly, the original game made use of the PS Vita’s touchscreen controls for its fast-paced rhythm-action gameplay and it remains to be seen how this will be translated to a PS4 controller. Perhaps we’ll see a game that finally makes full use of the Dualshock 4’s touchpad? For those of us with sausage fingers and all the rhythm of an over-80’s salsa class, there’s no need to fear. SUPERBEAT: XONiC will include three levels of difficulty, as well as a tutorial mode, for those looking for a more laid-back beat.”
