Creators of Until Dawn have been working on their upcoming gaming anthology series ‘The Dark Pictures’ and expect their first of title of the series to release later this summer. Titled ‘Man of Medan’, publisher Bandai Namco has announced that we can expect to see this new title release this coming August.

The upcoming anthology series for The Dark Pictures has already been confirmed by Supermassive Games as a collection of separate stories all with multiple endings and branching plotlines similar to the studio’s previous work. Man of Medan will take players on a journey featuring four characters who embark on an adventure to discover a mysterious WWII wreckage at the bottom of the sea.
Detailed by Bandai Namco, players will have the option to play as one of the five main characters (the four young adventurers and the captain of the ship) each with their own perspective. Choosing different paths of the story opens up new situations allowing for multiple playthroughs featuring different endings.
Man of Medan is scheduled to release on August 30, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
