The 2014 adventure thriller narrative, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, will be hitting the Nintendo Switch later this week. Developer The Astronauts announced that the game will be resurfacing on the hybrid console with the help of the new version of Unreal Engine making the game a smooth experience for the Switch.
Check out the official trailer for the game below:
“Switch is a completely different platform from the previous Nintendo consoles and it seems to get along well with The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Never before has touring Red Creek Valley under a blanket been so comfortable. And unsettling.” – The Astronauts co-founder Adrian Chmielarz
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is just one of many ports making their way over to the unique Switch console. The hybrid design is allowing players to try out some favorites from all over the current generation with new perspective by taking previously home console title on the go with little in the way of sacrifice to power or visuals.
The port of the popular adventure game is going to be releasing on the Switch as early as tomorrow on August 15, 2019.
