Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Gets New System Trailer

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have released a new System trailer for Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. The trailer showcases the game’s several gameplay systems including its customization features, online-only modes, single player mode, and more. Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream will launch on October 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam.

Single-Player Only Mode

Story Mode – Virtual worlds collide as their lines between time and space are blurred. Reunite with past adversaries and fallen allies. Face vicious enemies once again. Experience unseen stories with unexpected character interactions. (Characters for online-only modes are unlocked by playing through Story Mode.)

 

Online-Only Modes

Co-Op Quest – Clear missions in a party of four players with other parties for up to 20 players total. A challenging boss awaits you at the very end!

Boss Raid – Take down powerful bosses with other players. Use Advanced Skills and coordinate with your friends to achieve victory!

Free Roam – Free exploration that can be challenged alone. You may encounter online players!

 

How to Fight

Roles – Characters are categorized into six different Roles. Fight with the unique style of each Role.

Battle – Execute exhilarating combos with various button combinations. Advanced Skills have different effects depending on the character. Turn the tides of battle with powerful Ultimates! Retaliate against the boss’ powerful skills with Synchro Counters. Coordinate with other players to perform a deadly Switch Chain attack.

 

Customization

Character Enhance – There are a wide variety of effects available for equipment.

Customize – There’s plenty of outfits and accessories for you to customize your look. Some outfits have special powers.
