Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation game is now streaming from Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel. In amongst some beautiful visuals, the video reveals that the game will be out in Japan on October 27th, after it was previously confirmed that Japan and the west would both get the franchise’s fourth RPG in the fall.
The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita releases will both come in regular and limited editions. Everyone who buys a limited edition on either console will be treated with a bundle including a soundtrack CD and special contents Blu-ray disc in a separate package, a ‘Dengeki nerve Gear vol. 4’ pamphlet and mini clear posters. An extra perk of buying this edition is the special box art illustrated by abec.
The trailer gives us a look at some gameplay, more on the story and recently revealed characters in Philia and Strea. They also show us more on the mysterious new character known as Premiere.

“Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is set in the vast world of “Sword Art: Origin,” where characters like Strea, Philia, and the mysterious NPC Premiere stand alongside Kirito and Asuna. The story kicks off in the “Town of Beginnings.” Bandai Namco promises “loads of different landscapes,” such as the “Valley Map” and its aquatic environment. But players will need to be careful as monsters roam these maps, including “Jelly Floaters, Shadow Demons, Verminous, and the Shaman of Gigas, a strong boss using a strange magic.”
