TCL May Have Confirmed the Next-Gen Switch – Rumor

Chinese TV manufacturer TCL may have confirmed that Nintendo is secretly designing a next-gen Switch, reports affirm that the official U.S. account of the manufacturer shared an old article that referred to the rumors of the Switch Pro and its Mini-LED screen.

Is important to mention that TCL is including Mini-LED on its newest lineup of TVs, and as it was reported earlier this month, Nintendo is looking forward to securing the new technology for the next-gen Switch.

Rumors about a next-gen  Switch started to get attention after the unintentional leak of Suikoden’s Producer, Writer, and Director Yoshitaka Murayama when he affirmed that its new game will launch in 2022 a next-gen Switch. Murayama may have information directly from Nintendo’s HQ as it’s also reported that the tech giant is telling developers to get ready for the next-gen Nintendo Switch.

The Wall Street Journal affirmed in 2019, that the Japanese tech giant was planning a hardware revision with “enhanced featured targeted at avid gamers”, another respectable news site, The Financial Times, pointed at Nintendo’s need to catch up with the next-gen consoles.

The Switch, three years old in March, is teetering on the brink of becoming outdated. Rivals are launching smartphones and new consoles with the latest features, while cloud gaming poses challenges to the sector.

Evidence of the next-gen Switch could be spotted on the Switch’s Ver.10.0.0 An intriguing code written in the firmware adds the third line of software for a Switch console, having already mentioned the original Switch and its Lite version.

The new Nintendo Switch could launch in 2021, and it’s expected to use NVIDIA’s DLSS technology to upscale games to higher resolutions, it’s rumored that Nintendo is aiming to support 4k resolutions on the new console.
