Team Sonic Racing delayed to spring 2019

Sad news for Sonic fans, Team Sonic Racing has been delayed until May 21, 2019 says SEGA and Sumo Digital. SEGA said that they decided to hold back a little to work on improving it.

The game look amazing, if you like Mario Kart then probably this is your game, lets hope SEGA finish to polish the final product.

Team Sonic Racing will come out for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

“During this additional time, Sega and Sumo Digital will continue to hone the title to enhance the player experience to ensure Team Sonic Racing delivers the best gameplay experience possible,” the publisher said.

“We understand that many fans were looking forward to a Winter release and apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

We played Team Sonic Racing during E3 2018, an experience that we found little to write home about. Unlike Sumo Digital’s Sega All-Stars Racing games, this arcade-y kart racer lacked the content and style to engage us. Of course, that was just a demo, but it doesn’t surprise us that there’s more work to be done on the game. However it turns out, fans will have to wait until mid-2019 for a new Sonic game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
