Developer Polaris Quest, which is a subsidiary of Tencent Games, has announced Light of Motiram, a survival crafting game. The game features colossal machine animals and beasts, and “Earth and human civilization as we once knew it are gone”. Because of this, several have taken to social media to criticize and point out its similarities to the Horizon series. “Literally bar for bar lmfaooo its Zero Dawn, Forbidden West and Frozen Wilds all together,” said Twitter user @ItzPaulHD_v1. “It’s Thanksgiving Day and I bet Sony’s lawyers are gonna be thankful for waking up to this article and the blatant ripoff of Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. Those paychecks litigating this game out of existence are going to look nice,” said @Charrsixx. It’s worth noting that the title has some differences that established it such as online co-op, and the ability to craft buildings. Light of Motiram will launch for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A release date has yet to be announced. Several trailers were also released.
