TERA Open Beta on PS4 and Xbox One is Now Live

En Masse Entertainment announced today that the TERA open beta on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is now live and runs from March 9, 2018 at 6:00 AM Pacific (PST) until March 11, 2018 at 11:59 PM Pacific (PST). PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will have access to the open beta by visiting the PlayStation Store or Xbox Marketplace beginning March 9.

Check out the launch trailer of TERA’s Open Beta on consoles, featuring some gameplay footage:

“TERA brings true action combat into a high fantasy MMORPG world in an experience that combines a massive map to explore with skill-based battles that require precise timing, real-time targeting, and evasion. Explore a vast world and battle a variety of fantastic foes as you unleash epic combos against Big Ass Monsters (BAMs).

FEATURES

  • TERA’S COMBAT COMES HOME
TERA’s hallmark TRUE. ACTION. COMBAT arrives on consoles fully intact. TERA’s combat originally drew inspiration from console action games, so it feels right at home on a gamepad. All the skills, tactics and combos that make TERA’s combat so deep and satisfying are now just a button press (or two) away!
  • A CONTROL SCHEME FOR EVERY CHARACTER
Each of TERA’s character classes has unique default skill assignments and combo chains, meaning no two characters play quite the same! Don’t like the default button maps? That’s cool—you can fully re-map them to your liking across two separate skill bars.
  • ALL-NEW LOCK-ON SYSTEM
Keeps enemies in your sights and the action in the center of your screen!
  • CONTROLLER-FRIENDLY NAVIGATION
All your items, skills, and character info are now easily accessible within a streamlined, full-screen, interface.
  • SMART INVENTORY
Your inventory is now automatically sorted for quick retrieval into categories like weapons, equipment, and consumable items.
  • FULLY-CUSTOMIZABLE RADIAL MENU
Accessed from your skill bar, the new Radial Menu features eight empty slots you can assign to just about anything, including skills, items, and even emotes!
  • PARTY VOICE CHAT
Chat directly with fellow party members via native voice chat support. Don’t feel like talking? Don’t worry, you can opt out if you’d rather slay in silence.
  • FULL BROADCAST AND SHARING SUPPORT
Broadcast TERA instantly to your community on Twitch, Mixer, and Live from PlayStation with integrated streaming support.
  • QUICK-CHAT MENU
“Hello!”, “Attack!”, “Group Up”, “Good Job!”—Say them all and more with the flick of a stick. Perfect for when, “I just can’t talk right now.”
  • INTEGRATED GUILD SYSTEM
Create, build, and join guilds with TERA’s in-game guild system.

TERA will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 Spring 2018.”
