Today was the Gamescom Opening Night Live, as expected the livestream was hosted by Geoff Keighley. The 120 minutes show gave viewers a closer look at new games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, updates on previously announced games like the Mafia: Definite Edition, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and more information about Destiny 2: Beyond Light and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout – Season 2.

BioWare talks about the new Dragon Age

Following the tease on EA Play Live, BioWare has given an update on the development of the new Dragon Age.

“We’re still in early production, but we thought it was time to give you a very first look at how BioWare’s passionate team of developers are crafting this very special game,” Said Vice President Casey Hudson.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond Announced

Respawn Entertainment unveiled Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond for Oculus VR, the game is directed by Peter Hirschmann who explained how Above and Beyond, will return the franchise to its roots.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart new gameplay trailer.

The final showcase of the Gamescom Opening Night Live was the PS5’s exclusive Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, the game was shown running on PS5 hardware, the game does not have loading screens .

In this demo video, which takes place early in the game, Ratchet and Clank find themselves at odds with their archnemesis, Dr. Nefarious. Only this time, he’s equipped with the dangerous Dimensionator, a device with the power to open portals to other dimensions. As usual, Nefarious’s plan goes off the rails, and our beloved intergalactic duo go dimension hopping. Along the way they’ll encounter a cast of familiar and new faces.
