The Ending Scene For The Last of Us Part II Has Officially Finished Shooting

In the wake of exciting PlayStation news regarding the reveal of specs arriving in the next gen PlayStation console, it seems one of the current generation’s remaining AAA exclusives is nearing end of production. The Last of Us Part II Game Director, Neil Druckmann, has sent chills down fan’s spines as he tweeted a tease that the final scene in the upcoming title has finished shooting.

While this doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll be receiving the game anytime soon, it may give the team some more clarity on when the game will be ready for release. However, most studios don’t necessarily shoot scenes in order (that goes for television and movies, as well), so there’s no telling exactly how far along the developers are in terms of motion capture.

Recently, we also received information that actress Laura Bailey has finished up her parts, which does indicate progress is nearing some sort of finale.

So far, there’s no release window for when we’ll receive the sequel to Naughty Dog’s Last of Us -Last of Us Part II – so stay tuned for more updates.
