During the recent Xbox Partner Preview Livestream, publisher Nexon and developer Neople released a new trailer for the upcoming action RPG The First Berserker: Khazan. The gameplay trailer showcases new locations, enemies, special attacks, bosses, and more. The First Berserker: Khazan will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. A release date has yet to be announced. The game follows General Khazan, the ancestor of all slayers, after he was falsely accused of treason. “In this hardcore action RPG, thrilling combat takes center stage with every step of Khazan’s bloody quest for vengeance against those who orchestrated his downfall.”

The First Berserker: Khazan is a highly anticipated single-player action RPG from the extensive universe of Dungeon & Fighter. A unique blend of Dungeon & Fighter‘s anime art style and distinct combat system, The First Berserker: Khazan places emphasis on stylish combos, fast dodging, and precise parrying. The trailer introduced audiences to the unique action and darkly-atmospheric visuals of Khazan through an intense battle scene with area boss “Viper.”
First teased at The Game Awards in 2023, The First Berserker: Khazan tells the story of the Great General Khazan, the ancestor of all slayers, after he was falsely accused of treason. In this hardcore action RPG, thrilling combat takes center stage with every step of Khazan’s bloody quest for vengeance against those who orchestrated his downfall, marked by a dark fantasy world, gritty, manga-inspired visuals and intense, aggressive and ever-changing styles of battle.
The new trailer follows an in-game scene set against the backdrop of the Embars region leading up to a boss encounter with “Viper.” It also highlights key battle scenes during the boss’ first and second phases, never-before-seen combat, executions and Khazan’s impactful burst attacks that ground themselves in Dungeon & Fighter‘s trademark punchy, yet edgy cartoon graphics.
