The Good Life Gets Delayed for Spring 2020

Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro’s new game The Good Life, which was brought back through a successful Kickstarter Campaign.

In a post on the game’s Kickstarter page, SWERY revealed that the game will have to be delayed from the previous date of Q4 2019 to a new release date set for Spring 2019.

He says that the change was made because the team needed to prioritize the quality of the experience over the timely release.

“After a long deliberation, we have decided to change the schedule and extend the development period in order to deliver The Good Life to all our backers in the best condition possible.

It’s a very important, heavy decision, but we made it believing that it’s the happiest decision for all the people who are going to eventually play it. Therefore, we humbly ask that you wait a little bit longer for The Good Life to reach your hands.”

In addition to this, they talk about the many features and graphical enhancements made to the current build of the game.

The gameplay shows off the new enhanced character models to look less old and faded to match the actual setting that SWERY is aiming towards, which is Venice.

They also explain that photography will be more important, more shops will be accessed, and cats can have new abilities where they can see climbing spaces. They even explain the game’s various parameters for Naomi, such as her hunger sleepiness, and beauty care. The game will also have some item gathering and crafting, you can also bring food wherever you want.

The team has also added gardening, and fighting other animals when you play as a dog.

With these new additions and SWERY’s new ideas, I think that the Good Life will see a very bright future on its release.
