Sony has had a remarkable line-up of games since the early days of current generation and the list is going to end in glory with 4 big games on the way to come until 2021, with two of them being developed by Sony’s first party studios, one from Kojima Productions and the last title from Square Enix. For me, all of them are anticipated, especially Death Stranding, but when IGN attempted to ask the same question from the community, Kojima’s upcoming title stood at the last stage.
According to the results for a poll on IGN, which asked voters about the most anticipated PS4-exclusive game amongst The Last of Us Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Naughty Dog’s sequel for the dramatic journey of Ellie and Joel stood at first as the most exciting title for PS4 owners, which was predictable. The game succeeded to own 43.1% of votes which is approximately over 8.6K.
Final Fantasy VII Remake managed to be placed behind The Last of Us Part 2 with a share of 28.8% from 20K votes. The game knocked out two other PS4-exclusives with a considerable amount of votes, but don’t forget it’s a long-awaited remake from a well-known series compared to the new IPs from Kojima Productions and Sucker Punch.
The most exciting rivalry to watch is absolutely takes place between Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima, two promising brand new titles with one of them going to release later this year while the other has got no new details since last year’s E3. However, it seems players are excited for the one in the shadows more than Kojima’s mind-blowing project. Although the gap between the two is very little, Death Stranding lost it to Infamous developers with having about 300 votes less than Ghost of Tsushima.
