Naughty Dog finally released a new trailer from The Last of Us Part 2 more than a year after its last presentation at E3 2018, though the new footage has been shown to some selected people behind the closed doors.
During GameStop Managers Conference, Naughty Dog probably was the most interesting attendee for people like us who are not part of GameStop team. The developer behind The Last of Us Part 2 presented a new gameplay footage from the game during the conference from which we haven’t seen any images but we did spot the off-screen logo thanks to one of the many people sitting in front of the stage.
According to Gaming_Forte, who has shared some pictures from the conference, the new trailer was showing-off an action setting in the darkness through which you get to learn how to use clickers to your advantage. However, it seems the footage wasn’t as long as the one had been shown at E3 2018. Also, Troy Baker has also made an appearance at the show and talked about the game’s development process.
I know what you are waiting for now, but I’m sorry to say that there’s no word on release date yet. The source hasn’t mention any specific word on the game’s launch date but he does reveal that the new footage will be shared soon with all fans.
If you take the rumors as the only way to predict the release date for The Last of Us Part 2, then you have to wait at least until February 2020, though some other sources suggest Spring 2020. Anyway, the new trailer will probably be sharing in one of the upcoming events that Sony has shown intention to reveal new things at, including Paris Game Week, next State of Play or maybe the rumored PlayStation Meeting conference.
