UPDATE:
Naughty Dog has just responded to the recent wave of leaks that The Last of Us Part II is having since yesterday. The developers, with their hands tied at their backs, cannot say anything else than “don’t spoil it for others”, also they say, “No matter what you see and hear, the final experience will be worth it.”
Naughty Dog’s official statement don’t try to put the blame on anyone, but someone who loves videogames wouldn’t harm the release of a game as good as The Last of Us. Is possible that the leaker had a grudge against Naughty Dog. Neil Druckmann reveals the bigger picture, “heartbroken for the team”. Behind games like this, there is the desire of developers to make history and create something unique, something that fans would cherish. This leak did not only hurt Naugthy Dog and Sony, it must had affected heavily the team who were already crunching to make The Last of Us Part II a piece of art.
Heartbroken for the team. Heartbroken for our fans. We’re still incredibly excited to get the game into your hands. ❤️ https://t.co/QWKLU6I6Q3

Original Story:
Hermen Hulst, Head of Worldwide Studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed today the launch date of The Last of Us Part II, the game will launch on June 19 for the PlayStation 4. Hulst also announced that Ghost of Tsushima has been delayed, the game will launch on June 17.
As our teams at Sony Interactive Entertainment and Worldwide Studios approach development milestones and confront a world changed by COVID-19, we find ourselves having to adapt to today’s ever-changing environment. Amidst some disruptions to our working styles, we wanted to provide an update to PlayStation gamers who are eager to learn when our next exclusive titles will arrive to PlayStation 4.
I want to personally congratulate and thank both the teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions on their achievements, as we know it’s not an easy feat to reach the finish line under these circumstances. Both teams have worked hard to deliver world-class experiences, and we can’t wait to see what you think of them when they release in just a few short months.
The Last of Us Part II story and plot twist were leaked yesterday, Sony Interactive Entertainment has not released a public statement about the disgraceful situation, but some theories might indicate that it’s the work of a resentful employee. Reports from Kotaku reveals the crunch culture that Naughty Dog’s developers are used to. While some developers admit that executives take care of employees, other claims that the development of The Last of Us Part II has cost them a high price in their private lifes.
“They do try to take care of you, providing food, encouragement to go take breaks,” said one former developer. “But for the most part, the implication is: ‘Get the job done at all costs.’
“This can’t be something that’s continuing over and over for each game, because it is unsustainable,” said one developer on The Last of Us II. “At a certain point you realize, ‘I can’t keep doing this. I’m getting older. I can’t stay and work all night.’”
Ghost of Tsushima is being developed at Sucker Punch Studios, the game features an open world for players to explore, it revolves around Jin Sakai, one of the last samurai on Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in the 1274.
