SEGA has announced The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, a free-to-play visual novel available now for PC via Steam. The game takes place on Amy Rose’s birthday, and she’s hosting a murder mystery party on the Mirage Express, where Sonic the Hedgehog becomes the game’s victim. The game is not a Sonic Team title, but a “labor of love” from “a host of amazingly talented people who are just as passionate about Sonic as [they] are.” A launch trailer was also released.
