New rumors about the widely reported Nintendo Switch successor console have begun circulating online. According to Discord user and leaker SoldierDelta who successfully leaked the Team NINJA’s Rise of the Ronin game before it was released, the next Nintendo console is targeting a September 2024 release window. According to the leaker the console is internally codenamed “NG” and also has a placeholder release date of early November 2024. Additionally, the console will allegedly launch in two models, a standard version which will cost 449 dollars, and a digital-only version for 400 dollars. Its worth noting that none of these details have been confirmed by Nintendo, and should be taken with a grain of salt. It was recently reported that Nintendo showed off tech demos for the upcoming successor to Nintendo Switch. According to Eurogamer, the publisher showed off the tech demo behind closed doors to a select few developers.
