The Original God of War Trilogy Will Reportedly Receive a Remaster

According to XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker in a recent podcast, a remaster for the original God of War trilogy is coming to PlayStation. It could either only be released for PlayStation 5, or for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Baker also clarified that he was unsure of whether or not the God of War Trilogy remaster will be announced in 2024 or when it will actually be released. The first two God of War games first launched for the PlayStation 2, and was then remastered via the God of War Collection for PlayStation 3. God of War 3 first launched for PlayStation 3 on March 16, 2010. Another collection called God of War Saga which features the first two games on PlayStation 3 as well as the Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta games on the platform was also released. God of War 3 also received a remaster for PlayStation 4 called God of War III Remastered on July 14, 2015.
