The Outer Worlds 20 Minutes of Gameplay Revealed at PAX East

Obsidian Entertainment now is officially one of the first-party studios of Xbox, but before they start to develop exclusive titles for Microsoft’s gaming platforms, they have got to finish an outstanding anticipated job for first-person RPG lovers. The Outer Worlds announced later in 2018. In a year that Fallout 76 disappointed most of it’s fans, The Outer Worlds became even more popular, specially because Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, the two key people behind Fallout: New Vegas, have teamed up again for the upcoming futuristic RPG.

The Outer Worlds features most of the key elements of Fallout: New Vegas, in a further expanded way to give players a unique experience of an RPG in both gameplay and story. Set in a futuristic world similar to steampunk era, you are going to encounter with different factions and corporations, while following a branching story of colonizing planets by these mega groups. After an announcement at The Game Awards 2018 and bunch of gameplay trailers up to now, Obsidian Entertainment shared a long walkthrough of The Outer Worlds during a panel at PAX East.

The trailer showcases a new city called “Byzantium” with eye-catching neon lighting and gorgeous design of streets and buildings. Aside from visiting different parts of the city, we get to see dialogue system of the game in multiple situations and also a glimpse to combats of the game at the end, specially with presence of your allies, helping you to take down enemies more easily with their distinct weapons and interesting skills. The Outer Worlds is set to be released in 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. PC gamers will only be able to purchase the game from Epic Games Store or Microsoft Store. It will be available on Steam, 12 months after release.
