The Outer Worlds Arrives to Switch in March

Obsidian Entertainment today announced that The Outer Worlds, will be releasing on March 6, 2020. The game is now on every possible platform as last year a PC port released. The game will be offered at Nintendo’s eShop at $59.99, the game’s retail package won’t include a cartridge.

Virtuous Games was tasked to create the Switch port, being the case of a GPU demanding game, it’s expected that the developer has slightly downgraded the graphics in order to  not lose too many FPS.

Take a look at this trailer here:

The Outer Worlds is a new single-player, first-person, sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. As the player explores the furthest reaches of space, several  factions will be met, all of those will be  fighting for power, players are free to decide which path to follow, this will determine how protagonist-driven story unfolds.

“”Lost in transit while on a colonist ship, bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.

Whether you choose to zap foes with your shrink ray or charm them with smooth-talking abilities, The Outer Worlds lets you play the way you want and be the galactic hero (or villain) of your dreams. And on the Nintendo Switch, now you’ll be able to take The Outer Worlds anywhere you go”

The Outer Worlds won the best original game at E3 2019 and is developed by co-game directors Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, original creators of Fallout, and from the renowned team at Obsidian, developers of Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the Pillars of Eternity franchise.
