The Primal Newscast – Weekly News Recap Episode #1

Welcome to The Primal Newscast where Gaming Instincts goes over the most hottest and interesting news of the week in the gaming industry.

This week has been pretty hot on the rumor mill in the gaming industry. Especially with the upcoming release of Nintendo’s largest Super Smash Brothers game yet – Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. The game will be releasing on December 7th, 2018 and we still have the full roster unveiled. However, recent leaks have suggested that there will be 7 new characters such as Issac, Geno, and even Banjo Kazooie will be appearing in Nintendo’s latest entry of the Super Smash Brother series. Echo fighters like Ken for Street Fighter’s Ryu and Shadow for Sonic the Hedgehog are also on the list as well. If this is true by any means, then we have to say that the word Ultimate is an understatement.

Nintendo also recently renewed their trademark for Banjo Kazooie, how exactly that happened we have no idea. However, one thing is for certain, the leaks are starting to become more credible almost on daily basis with new sources of information. What this could also possibly mean for the future of Banjo Kazooie, Rare, Xbox and of course Nintendo themselves? Do the 2 big publisher giants have something up their sleeve that we have no clue of yet? We shall see.

In other news, Destiny 3 has also apparently started development as well according to some anonymous user on Reddit – you can check out some of the gameplay info and the rumor itself right here. The game apparently will focus on hardcore PvE and PvP elements and treat itself more as a true MMORPG as opposed to region world gameplay that we know of today in Destiny 1 and Destiny 2.

Microsoft has also announced that Game Pass is now coming to PC and that is some pretty exciting news for the PC fans out there. Game Pass is arguably the best gaming services out in the market as of today and now these amazing benefits come to the PC. It’s awesome to see Microsoft showing their true commitment for the PC platform. But the question remains, can they iron out the bugs of the Xbox App on PC? Or will the Xbox App continue to have bugs and issues? Only time will tell.

A trailer for the PlayStation 1’s MediEvil Remake on the PlayStation 4 will launch on October 31st, 2018 just in time for Halloween, This will be the first time that we see any kind of gameplay footage or information since the game’s announcement back at the PlayStation Experience in 2017. Also, if you did not know there will be no PlayStation Experience event this year as Sony has other bigger plans in store for us sometime in early 2019.

And the last piece of news but not least, Capcom have revealed that they will be bringing Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 4 on to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019. Now you can play your favorite Resident Evil games in glorious full HD on the go and enjoy them once again.

Leonid Melikhov

Hello everyone, my name is Leo and I am the proud founder of Gaming Instincts. I've been working in the Gaming Industry for over 6 years professionally. However, in my recent times I have decided to go create a new path for myself and that path began with Gaming Instincts. I loves many different types of games genres including FPS, RTS, TPS, MMOs, Arcade Racers and many more. One of my favorite current developers is From Software the creators of the Soulsbourne games. My friends also thing I am crazy because I love trophy and achievement hunting on my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. I always strive to obtain 100% completion including DLC on some of the hardest games that are out in the market. Most notable and proud 100%s are Evolve, Overwatch, Battleborn and both of the Evil Within titles. Over the course of my 6 year career I had the pleasure to speak to some of the biggest publishers and developers in the world including 343 Industries, Turn 10, Rare, Lionhead Studios, Naughty Dog, Ready at Dawn, Bungie, Activision, EA, Epic and many more. What does the future hold for me at Gaming Instincts and where shall we go? Only time will tell.
