Frogware was supposed to release The Sinking City back in March 21, but the studio has decided to push it back to June 27 and since then, we’ve received so many minutes of gameplay from the Lovecraftian third-person adventure title and still there are more to be shown in the new trailer of the game which is named Rotten Reality.
Those who love the mysterious world of H.P. Lovcraft in his novels have got Focus Home Interactive’s Call of Cthulhu last year, but if that couldn’t satisfy you enough, Frogware’s The Sinking City is a worthy one to wait for. The game follows the story of an investigator who comes to Oakmont to solve mysterious crimes and murders but the long he stays in the city, the more he notices an unfamiliar change in people’s behavior, while at the same time a strange flood is taking over the city.
Throughout your horror adventure in Oakmont, you will visit astonishingly strange places, meet suspicious people who seem to be involved in the crimes and also encounter with supernatural disgusting creatures that cannot be thrown away from your way, unless you put some bullets in them. Latest trailer of the game, sums up all the dirty and dark locations of the game with some gameplay features like shooting, puzzle solving and adventuring in less than 2 minutes to showcase what should be expected from the game.
The Sinking City will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One along with PC via Epic Games Store on June 27.
