The Surge 2 – Adds Future Shock Weapon DLC

Focus-Home Interactive’s The Surge is something of Dark Souls like game, set in the future. The game is absolutely brutal, dismembering limbs, difficult combat with an open-world to explore and see. Reception on the first game in the series was mixed, with a lot of players liking the foundation of what The Surge offered but wanted more. The Surge 2, for the most part, seems to have fixed the issues players had with the first game. Focus-Home isn’t done with the game yet and in fact is giving users some free DLC. The DLC includes four weapons for you to add to your arsenal as you set foot in Jericho City, it sounds like this is only the beginning for the team.

Expand your The Surge 2 experience with the Future Shock Weapon Pack and get access to 4 new devastating weapons from the shadiest corners of Jericho City. The quarantine has sparked a surge in black market activities that unearthed previously secret projects. Find them as you fight your way through Jericho City, cut them from your enemies and equip them for yourself!

This pack includes :
-The “Golden Twin Blades” Twin Rigged weapon
-The “Mangled Articulators” Punching Gloves
-The “Golden Harvest” Double Duty weapon
-The “EFH” Heavy Duty Weapon

If you’re unfamiliar of what The Surge brings to the table you can read the Steam description of the game below.
In a bid to survive, explore the sprawling, devastated Jericho City. Fight ferocious threats in brutal, unforgiving combat, slashing and tearing the limbs off your opponents to steal their equipment.

What do you think of The Surge 2? Have you finished your first playthrough, how difficult is it? Seriously, I need to know, I still haven’t beaten Dark Souls and don’t need another emotional beatdown from a Souls-Like. Let me know and make sure you follow Gaming Instincts on Twitter and Facebook.
