More Season Pass content has been released for The Surge 2 in the form of the ‘Jericho’s Legacy Gear Pack.’
The new DLC is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and implements three new gear sets to The Surge 2. In addition, the ‘Jericho’s Legacy Gear Pack’ is available both as a standalone purchase and as part of the Season Pass.
The ‘Jericho’s Legacy Gear Pack’ is the second major release as part of The Surge 2 Season Pass. The new content includes the “BEAST Tank Buster for pushing back enemies, the Kyoko Hacker Suit, giving extra range to horizontal attacks, and the Jericho Firetails Mascot, which encourages a blacok-and-attack playstyle.”
Moreover, the new ‘Kraken’ expansion will be coming to The Surge 2 in January, introducing a new storyline, new enemies, and new bosses “aboard an enigmatic repurposed aircraft carrier.” Season Pass owners will be able to access the ‘Kraken’ expansion 48 hours ahead of its official release.
The first DLC for The Surge 2 released in November 2019, giving players access to the ‘Public Enemy Weapon Pack,’ which contained 13 weapons across eight types. This DLC was also available for free to Season Pass holders as well as standalone.
The Surge 2 released on September 24, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. It received positive reviews when it launched and is the sequel to 2017’s The Surge. Both titles feature Dark Souls elements with enemies that respawn when players enter safe zones to heal and change their equipment, similar to resting when meditating in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
