Thunder Lotus Games Launches Kickstarter For Sundered

Thunder Lotus Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Sundered, the highly anticipated sophomore release from the creators of Jotun. With its goal set at a relatively modest 25,000$ CAD, the campaign’s stated aim is to attract a solid core of dedicated fans to the project during its testing phase, maximizing actionable feedback for the action-horror game leading up to its release on PlayStation 4, Windows, Mac, and Linux in July 2017.

The game is a horrifying fight for survival and sanity, a hand-drawn epic from the creators of Jotun. You play Eshe, a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in ever-changing caverns teeming with eldritch horrors. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of your humanity. Resist or Embrace.

Check out the Trailer:

“In terms of gameplay, Sundered can mostly be described as a replayable Metroidvania, close to Rogue Legacy and Super Metroid. You explore an ever-changing dungeon, fight hordes of eldritch horrors, and chose between humanity or madness.

We can’t wait show you more Sundered in the coming months. Thank you for joining us in our journey to make AAA quality games with an indie heart. We hope you’ll be around in 2017 when Sundered releases on PS4.”
