Titan-sized update to the Greek mob simulator Okhlos

Philosophical indie developer Coffee Powered Machine and anarchic game label Devolver Digital have released a titan-sized update to the Greek mob simulator Okhlos and redubbed the newly expanded game Okhlos Omega! Starting today.

The newly anointed Okhlos Omega includes enough new features to please even the most skeptical of the gods. New enemies stalk through streamlined levels as thirty new heroes clash with the gods, each with their own unique and distinct abilities. Lead your mob into battle with custom mobs and reach glory through more balanced challenges and smarter difficulty progression.

The game strictly adheres to historical fact as players step into the sandals of ancient Greek philosophers and lead angry mobs of irate citizens, warriors, and livestock in an effort to bring down the oppressive gods of mythological Greece. Recruit, craft, and upgrade mobs of all sizes to take down everything from minotaurs and cyclops to ancient temples and the mighty Olympians themselves.

Check out the Trailer:

“Squeeze into your toga and slide on your sandals to rally the angry mobs of Okhlos and bring down the oppressive god of mythological Greece! Your beloved people will not longer stand for the abuse from their deities and take up arms against them and taking down anything and everything in their path. Topple the beastly minotaur, bring down sacred temples, and confront the almighty Olympians themselves while recruiting and balancing your unruly mob with warriors, peasants, slaves and even livestock in their quest for freedom from Mount Olympus! It’s total anarchy in the birthplace of democracy!”
