Aside from the big rivalry between Epic Games Store and Steam on revenue shares, the two store have an interesting competition on giving away free titles to their players every week. This time around, it’s a war between Torchlight and Age of Wonders 3.
As it’s officially revealed during this year’s E3, Epic Games Store now offers a free game to add to your inventory once a week. For this week, users on EGS are allowed to download and play Torchlight until July 18. An action RPG title with an isometric camera that offers you distinct experience with different playable characters each one with its own skills and abilities. After Torchlight, Limbo will be the next free game on Epic Games Store.
Coming to the other side of the war, Age of Wonders 3 is available for free until July 15 on Steam. The third installment in turn-based strategy series is a good fit for those who are looking for a hardcore title in the genre.
