Kingdom Hearts 3 has been out for nearly two months leaving players (mostly) satisfied once the main story arc (finally) concluded. However, the developers aren’t done supporting the game as DLC has already been planned, but there’s also been confirmation on the game receiving a Critical Mode very soon.
In a report from Game Informer, co-director Tai Yasue revealed that more “technical and offensive” enemies will be making their way into the new mode. When speaking at this year’s GDC, he also revealed the new mode will be better suited for more skilled players accustomed to the action genre and timed attacks.
Bringing in a tougher difficulty setting that is also said to introduce more than just changing the value of the enemies, giving players who thrived for a true challenge something worthwhile. Stay tuned for more on Kingdom Hearts 3, including more on the confirmed planned DLC that the studio is currently working on.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
