Publisher Sega has acquired the makers of the Two Point Hospital title, Two Point Studios. The which released last year was published by Sega Europe still has new updates incoming for the game and will continue to work on the series under Sega’s wing.
Two Point Studio was founded by two previous developers who worked on the Theme Hospital title back in the 90s as Two Point Hospital acts as a successor to the original title. Fans of the Two Point Hospital title can expect the Superbug Initiative update to release sometime soon as it’s currently in the beta phase.

The acquisition is the first of Sega’s Searchlight initiative program which allows the publisher to identify and pick up new talent and IP opportunities to add to the company. Sega has also hinted at numerous unannounced titles in the works for the new studio and will reveal more in the coming months.
