Ubisoft announced the fuse of Uplay and Ubisoft Clubs services for a new technology called Ubisoft Connect, which will support cross-play and cross-progression for Assasins’ Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs.
Ubisoft Connect is the ecosystem of player services for Ubisoft games across all platforms. On Ubisoft Connect, you will be able to connect with players from all platforms, unlock unique Rewards through our Loyalty program, compare your stats with your friends, get personalized tips to improve yourself, and much more!
Ubisoft Connect is a free service, players can access it via PC and mobile devices through a mobile app, this will require a Ubisoft Account.

Whether you play on PC or console, you’ll be part of a global network of Ubisoft players with access to all the same services. Regular updates will provide you with more ways to interact with an ever-growing community.

Keep your progression on all devices
For our newest releases*, all your game progression is saved within Ubisoft Connect, so you won’t lose a step if you change consoles or switch to PC.
According to the company, the current catalog of games can be accessed by Ubisoft Connect services (stats, leaderboard, Smart Intel when applicable), but the challenge system is inactive.

Free rewards are given through Ubisoft Connect Loyalty System, it’s basically players will be awarded “Units” a new currency that can be spent on unique in-game reards.
