Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog have released new gameplay footage of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End showcasing the game’s Madagascar level.
The demo shows Nathan Drake, his brother Sam, and his mentor Sully navigating the backgrounds of Madagascar in search of outposts where the legendary pirate Henry Avery may have hidden his treasure. Players are equipped with a 4×4 to drive around, which they can hop out of at any time to investigate ruins or search for collectible treasures scattered across the landscape. It offers a small glimpse what Naughty Dog calls Uncharted 4‘s “wide linear”-style exploration, which allows for more freewheeling navigation without sacrificing the series’ narrative-driven pacing
The trailer also includes a look at some of Uncharted 4’s combat mechanics, stealth abilities, and more.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will release on PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016.
Check out the Gameplay Preview:
“Set three years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Nathan Drake has presumably left the world of fortune hunting behind. However, it doesn’t take long for adventure to come calling when Drake’s brother, Sam, resurfaces seeking his help to save his own life and offering an adventure Drake can’t resist.”
