During the recent Nintendo Direct event, developer poncle announced that the roguelike action game Vampire Survivors will launch digitally for the Nintendo Switch on August 17 alongside a free update that adds a local four-player co-op mode for PC, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices. In the mod, players “can either continue your current game or start a new adventure with friends to face the hordes of the undead.” A new trailer was also released. Vampire Survivors first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on December 17, 2021.

About the Cooperative Update
The couch cooperative mode will come in a free update on August 17 and let you play the whole Vampire Survivors saga with up to four players in local couch cooperative play on PC, Steam Deck, Switch, Xbox, and mobile (one controller per player required).
Be the bullet hell with your besties!
In cooperative mode, you can either continue your current game or start a new adventure with friends to face the hordes of the undead. Players can seamlessly switch between single and co-op play between stages and unleash chaos. Like every good co-op game, Vampire Survivors will also offer opportunities to test your friendship and stretch the definition of the word “cooperative.”
