There was a time that releasing games on PC was not concerned by the players, as they were pretty sure that every game is going to release on steam or it’s publisher’s own storefront, but with Epic Games Store arriving as of last year and signing exclusivity contracts with most of big upcoming AAA titles, now it’s become a norm to every developer to announced whether it’s game will appear on all of the available stores or it would be Epic Games Store exclusive. Well, for newly announced Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 the answer for exclusivity is a clear “NO”.
According to official Twitter account of Bloodlines 2, although the game will be available on Epic Games Store, it doesn’t include any exclusivity contract and will be released on Steam and GOG as well. While it seems the matter of exclusivity is a call between respecting players’ choices and making more money, Paradox Interactive has decided to give it’s community a freedom of choice in purchasing their anticipated title, the decision that some other developers and publishers like CD Projekt RED and Bethesda have made before.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 revealed approximately three weeks ago with an interesting trailer, showcasing some eye-catching footage of the sequel to one of the cult and creative titles of RPG genre. Based on it’s announcement, Bloodlines 2 will be available in 2020 for current gen consoles along with PC. Here you can check out it’s first trailer once again:
