Versus: Battle of the Gladiator Free to Play Now on Steam

Netker Inc., has recently announced that Versus: Battle of the Gladiator is now free to play on Steam. The game was Greenlit on Steam Greenlight in just 3 days, then it was launched on Steam Early Access on June 20th, and it was officially launched on Steam on August 26th.

Versus: Battle of the Gladiator is a PVP action game with brutal non-targeting melee combat. Players take the role of a slave gladiator captured by Claderan empire, conqueror of the world. Players can fight alone or team up with others in a bloody gladiatorial battle. Player must destroy their enemies to rise as victor, and become the legend of the arena.

“Versus: Battle of the Gladiator features brutal and hardcore non-targeting melee combat with customizable equipment and combat move set. Each attack has unique traits, strengths and weaknesses, which turns each match into a dynamic and complex mind game. Players will learn how to outplay their opponents with tricks like chaining attacks into a combo, utilizing the environment, and countering their opponent’s moves. With its non-targeting combat system and real-time armor destruction, the combat of Versus revolves around dynamic situations with unlimited replay value.

Versus was well acknowledged by its players during the last 2 months, and proven to be fun, creative, and competitive. Netker is planning to add Co-op mode in the following week for those who seek new challenges, along with several other contents such as new skills to learn and items to craft. Also, to compensate the players who paid for Versus, Netker has sent several reward items. Paid players will be able to find in-game credits and an item box which will provide an exclusive weapon. Also, they will be considered as a premium player, and rewarded further whenever it is applicable.”
