It’s called Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and it’s a version of the PS1 original that Activision calls “built from the ground up.” Beenox has developed the HD upgrade, which will again feature characters like Crash and his sister Coco among the roster of playable racers. Modes from the original game carry over, like adventure and time trials.
A core difference is that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will include both offline and online play, as one would hope for a multiplayer game launching in 2019. Still, many of us still hold a torch for the game as we remember it back in 1999, so it’s nice that things sound mostly unchanged otherwise.
