Virtua Fighter Reboot is Rumored To Be In Development

According to new statements on Twitter from prominent Sega and Atlus leaker Midori, Sega is developing a Virtua Fighter reboot, that may or may not be part of the publisher’s previously announced Reboot program. According to the leaker, the reboot is not being developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which developed the most recent title, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, but instead, “staff from the latest Virtua Fighter games.” Additionally, the leaker claims that the upcoming title will include both single player and multiplayer elements, and will target “casual and core players including competitive players.” None of these claims have been confirmed by Sega.
