The ERSB has unintentionally leaked the rating of Void Bastards for the Nintendo Switch, no official announcement has been released by Humble Bundle, or the developer Blue Manchu. A similar scenario, this time with PEGI also leaked Void Bastards’ release for the PlayStation 4. Former developers of Bioshock took the leading role at producing Void Bastards.
Void Bastards players are tasked to “lead the misfits prisoners of the Void Ark through the derelict spaceships and myriad dangers of the Sargasso Nebula”. Basically, players will command the prisoners telling them when and where they will fight. Players will have to manage ship controls, scavenge supplies and craft improvised tools.
Void Bastards boast a 12-15 hour campaign, the game is played through an endless supply of prisoners, each will have an unique traits. After one prisoner gets killed, another will step forward to carry on the fight. The crafting progress made is retained for all prisoners.
Forget everything you know about first-person shooters: Void Bastards asks you to take charge, not just point your gun and fire. Your task is to lead the rag-tag Void Bastards out of the Sargasso Nebula. You make the decisions: where to go, what to do and who to fight. And then you must carry out that strategy in the face of strange and terrible enemies.
Void Bastards
