Bandai Namco has confirmed 15 characters for the game’s roster, including returning fighters Taki, Talim, Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik, as well as newcomer Grøh and guest character Geralt of Rivia.

After spending years in the dark depths of the Money Pit, Voldo lost his eyesight but gained a heightened sense of hearing and awareness, making him extremely deadly to those who dared to enter the Money Pit in search of riches.
Like Bandai Namco’s previous fighting game, Tekken 7, Soulcalibur VI will run on Unreal Engine 4 with the game’s producer being Motohiro Okubo. According to Okubo, the title’s code name was “Luxor” due to the team’s intentions on making the game feel brighter like it was in the first Soulcalibur. Additional mechanics will help educate players on the game’s learning curve, such as the previously-mentioned Reversal Edge.”
