This year, FIFA 20 comes with a promising addition which reminds us of the cancelled FIFA Street series back in the 7th generation of consoles. Volta Football is a redefined version of FIFA Street that will be included in FIFA 20 as a new mode. It will be bringing you a whole new way to play soccer and its first gameplay trailer is here to share more about the features.
In Volta Football, you will be able to play 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 matches against your opponents. Players within your team could be either real-world players or your self-made characters. The mode supports both male and female characters, and it will be the first time where men can play against women in FIFA series.
Volta Football is being divided into three main parts. Volta Story, Volta Tour and Volta League. While the first one seems to be something similar to the Journey mode, the two other modes allow you to participate in local league tournaments or worldwide tour where you have to play in different countries.
According to the trailer, house rules, which were debuted in FIFA 19, will be accessible in Volta Football matches as well, though you can play the street-style mode with official Futsal rules. There will be 17 playgrounds in 17 different cities of the world, each one with its unique design. Moreover, the game has provided a wide variety of choices to create your own players with different styles.
FIFA 20 will be available on September 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The free demo of the game comes on September 12.
