The Walking Dead’s third season, A New Frontier, coming this November
The third season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead adventure series will be titled The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series – A New Frontier. And it will be released on PC, Mac, console and mobile platforms in November.
During a panel at PAX West, Telltale Games revealed a number of new details about the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead. First of all, they announced that this new season would not be simply known as The Walking Dead Season 3, but rather The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.
In addition, they revealed that A New Frontier would be making its debut sometime this November as either a digital download or as a “Season Pass Disc” that comes with Episode 1 on it and will allow you to download the others as they release.
The game will debut on consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile platforms.

“This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “As a harrowing and horrific drama, ‘A New Frontier’ will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what’s left of humanity itself.”
