New ideas in video game are always welcomed since they are helping the industry to grow and push the boundaries even if they don’t be used properly through the games. Wanderlust, the debut title for a newly founded studio, is exactly what fits into my opening words. The former developers of The Witcher at CD Projekt RED are now working on a whole new game with a strange kind of gameplay.
Wanderlust might be named as a travel simulation but it’s not the exact word to describe it. According to Artur Ganszyniec and Jacek Brzezinski, two former employees at CDPR, Wanderlust: Travel Stories follows the story of five travelers who visit multiple countries in different continents, and all of them will be controlled by the player.
Through the travels, you’re going to make some decisions on most of the things that a traveler might encounter with, like managing your budget and spending the money wisely. The choices that you make will alter your character’s mood and will affect him in different ways. Whatever you decide to do in Wanderlust, at the end of the day, you won’t finish your travels without getting something new. Here is the announcement trailer for the game:
Wanderlust: Travel Stories will be released on August 28 for PC via Steam.
