Ubisoft has released a new trailer for upcoming open world tech thriller Watch Dogs 2, introducing the core cast of characters including the members of hacker group DeadSec who will help protagonist Marcus Holloway take down a shady conglomerate.
The trailer does a good job of setting up the story and the camaraderie amongst the hacker group’s members. You aren’t a one man army in this game like the first and it shows.
Watch Dogs 2 builds on the foundation laid by the original, which while successful commercially, suffered creatively thanks in part to its loft ambitions and lengthy marketing cycle. Where its story was drab and its characters unlikable or forgettable, the sequel appears to have a much more prevalent sense of fun.
Watch Dogs 2 is scheduled for release on November 15th 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
