We. The Revolution Comes to Consoles on June 25

History of France is filled with violent revolutions one after another which makes it a hell of a place for those who love politics and also don’t scare to see its consequences when you dedicate your whole life to reach the power of controlling everything. We. The Revolution is probably what delivers you a great experience of being responsible for death or freedom of criminals in a country that traversing through its most critical era in the history.

We. The Revolution put the players in shoes of a judge in France, where revolutionaries has won the war against the king recently, and you should set punishments and sentence accused people to bring back justice to the country once again. However, justice never satisfies everyone in the country, sometimes making decision in the court might makes people or other politicians angry enough to assassinate you or fire you. So in such a situation, you have to change your mind in order to save your life, no matter how cruel it should be for victims or accused ones.

The decision’s that you make directly affects the other character’s life including your own family, however if you want to gain the whole power of the country at any cost, you will have to sacrifice important things in your life and wait for more dramatic moments through cut-scenes.

Gameplay of We. The Revolution starts with judging people at court according to confesses and evidences that are provided for you. As you progress in the game, you encounter with different gameplay features like controlling agents in different cities to increase your reputation around the country, or commanding your troops through civil wars in city and manipulating people with your promises that most of the time don’t seem to be trustworthy.

With all these explanations of the game, I want to suggest you play it right now if you’re dying for story-driven political games, or you can wait until June 25 to get We. The Revolution on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
