PDXCON, the exclusive event for Paradox Interactive published games, is going to be held from October 18 in Berlin, Germany. As we get closer to the show, more information comes out about the announcements and presentations that are going to happen on the stage. Recently, Paradox Interactive officially confirmed a sequel to its Surviving series called Surviving: The Aftermath, and today, the company teased Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood with more details coming next Friday.
Inspired by the table-top role-playing game from White Wolf publishing, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is an action-RPG title set in America Northwest, where you take the role of a banished werewolf, Cahal. With Cahal’s clan being on the edge of destruction, he comes back to help out his tribe against Pentex corporation’s air-polluting activities. Throughout the game, you will be able to change into a human, wolf or werewolf in order to reach your objectives and don’t caught anybody’s attention. Here you can check out the brief teaser of the game:
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood was firstly showcased at E3 2019 behind the closed doors but it seems we are finally going to see the first footage of the game during PDXCON 2019 at Berlin.
The game is being developed by Cyanide, the team behind Styx series and Call of Cthulhu, and it’s powered by Unreal Engine 4. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood has been planned to get released next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. While a gameplay footage is highly expected from the game at Paradox Interactive’s upcoming event, we hope to get the exact release date of the game as well.
